Today's video features a Sakae Trilogy kit in bop sizes!

This kit has been outfitted with Earthtone Calkfskin heads on the batters and Remo Clear Ambassadors on the resos.

Built in Osaka, Japan by Sakae. Sakae made drums for Yamaha for 40 years. The Trilogy kit features thin 3-ply maple/poplar/maple shells with 4-ply North American maple reinforcement hoops. The shell interiors are coated with a silver sealer, and the exterior is a wrap. These drums are extremely light, as a Trilogy 14x6.5 snare only ways 6 lbs. The lugs are die-cast aluminum with chrome plating. The hoops are 1.6mm.

18 x 14 Bass Drum
12 x 8 Rack Tom
14 x 14 Floor Tom
5.5 x 14 Snare Drum

Cymbals: 22" Ottaviano Ride (2385g), 22” Zildjian K Con Renaissance Ride (2407g) - Modified by Jesse Simpson, 14" Vintage 1960s Zildjian Avedis Hi-Hats (1112g B / 844g T).

Mics: We used two AKG C214 microphones as overheads, a Shure SM57 on the snare, and an AKG d112 on the bass drum.

I think it was a cheap sakae single braced stand lol
