Just a short demo vid of some new and older skins. Bovid muleskins on bass drum and high tom, Kentville kangaroo on snare and an old Slingerland calf on the “floor” tom The bass drum is a new build Sheffield 16x14. The bass drum beater is a prototype from Dragonfly percussion.

I’m very happy with both the Bovid and a Kentville heads. They have a slightly different sound which is advantageous. I’m thinking of getting a couple more so that I have an entire “shell bank” of natural skin heads. I have to keep one set with plastic for these humid outdoor gigs. It figures that all of the gigs right now are that.

Heres another short video. Tuning is a little different after sitting in the air conditioning for awhile.
