Should used kits be sold as complete as possible

With the Sonor Basic arm system it's possible to build Phonic / Signature style tom mounts, with 19 mm arms.
A 12 mm arm is also available. You can build something that replaces this:

That's great that the do that for the older stuff! I don't think that existed 10 years ago, maybe it did. Those Phonics are long gone now.

I wouldn't say picky unless you expect a deal after the seller has spent countless weeks searching exactly correct tension rods, legs,mufflers etc and installed them.
Or replaced all the heads when they were complete junk. I make my offers on used vintage stuff based on its value AS IS and its value once I spend money to restore it. I'm not paying 900 for a Slingerland kit that needs 200 bucks in parts AND new heads to be worth maybe 1100 .....I will agree that finding a seller who understands this is sometimes as difficult as sourcing the parts.

My goodness , you are in NYC so a trip to Jollity Drum Farm couldn't be that far . Argyle , New York .

If its Rogers you want , hope you're sitting down when you see what Bobby's got . Very personable fellow who himself is a Rogers historian, techinician and player .

Its a pilgrimmage well worth the effort .

Yes, you are being too picky. Its a used item, and a 50+ year old item.
I imagine you could find a Rogers kit with nearly every part on it, including the TT muffler, but would pay for that. In a way you are paying for somebody else to do the 'leg work'
