Show Me How You Keep Your Drums From Rolling

I see a lot of wall shelves built for displaying snare drums vertically. What I don’t see typically is a way to secure the drum from rolling off.

Anyone have any solutions you have done to mitigate that earthquake, cat, etc.?

Mine just use the lugs to keep the drums from rolling

there's a slant in the cross slats

creates a 'V' they (cymbals in my case) won't rock out of

Just be careful NOT to have that storage rack mounted on a wall
above your bed...
...the last thing you need is to get bonked on the head by a
falling snare drum during an earthquake.
An avocado-sized lump on the forehead ain't a pretty sight to see.

I used easily cut rounded coving strips like you see on baseboards in your house where they meet the floor

I'm looking to place a long wall shelf up relatively high and display a row of vintage snare drums vertically lined up on the wall behind my drumset. The security is needed in case my Bengals attempt to jump up there for some reason.
