So, it's the most recent Gadd signature in Steel, right? If yes, maybe because he's my best drummer of all time and then, I might be biaised but how do you like it? Is it worth 1000$? If I buy a steel snare, I feel it's either this one or the Dunnet...
Well, it certainly is a beautiful drum. If you want that Gadd sound, it's got that. Personally, I liked the drum, but fought with it a bit too much trying to dial it in to my preferences. By the way, I did not pay full retail on it - I ultimately sold it to fund some other things.

Ok, thanks for the info, I will try ot get it at a better price, especially if i want to put other wires on it. Well, the Dunnet is awesome too, but I love Gadd sound and I have no black chrome snare so...Thanks

Man thats insane which is ya favourite from that lot boy oh boy.
I don't have one yet, I chose them for their different personalites, I have the 4 first I bought on the kit, the Tama Maple and the Tama Sendan, plus the Benny Greb brass and the Summit Walnut, I'm waiting for a snare rack stand to have them always on display and then, I could rotate them to record whenever i want.

Here's Most of my collection. I go for class über mass ... since I can't afford both at the same time. ;)
Missing in the pic are my Pearl Steve Ferrone Signature and my Yamaha 12 Musashi that I've both loaned out currently.
