Tommy, what's the story on that green marching snare? I sold one of those recently and am curious if it's the same drum...

I bought this off eBay in December 2008. Original batter head and snare frame, wires, drum key, etc. Ironically, I played it last night in the neighborhood of a progressive dinner party for New Years. It sounded absolutely fantastic. As many may know, I'm not a Dyna fan per se, but this sounded much better than my other marching snares.

Happy to see all the great snare pictures coming in guys. It's really cool to see all these beautiful drums together.

My first post in this thread was at the end of December, but 5 months lhas brought a few changes in my Snare collection. I dont have a predetermined number I try to maintane, but a dozen seems to be my sweet spot. I enjoy buying and selling so things are always open to chnage, but for now here is mine in a single photograph.

This is the second time I have taken a "family photo" and It's a fun way to spend an hour or two with your gear. It presents a great moment to do any needed maintenance, changes heads or wires and show a little love with a bit of cleaning.
