Sounds like a person really needs to bring one’s A game to play it. Or maybe I should say one’s K game.
I wouldn't recommend it as one's home "home-only" cymbal for example ..unless you play hard and loud. Put it that way. There's better one's for home dancing and entertaining.

Got it. Can’t wait for venues to open again. Maybe I’ll celebrate with a new ride....

One word, that always pops into my head when playing that one, is sweet. It's just very sweet, pure and buttery, sort of gentleman type of cymbal without being boring or one dimensional, reminds me of Kind of Blue actually.
Great stick definition for it's weight, typical for Funches.

Sounds like this:
Beautiful tone and decay! Great playing too!

Finally, found some time. These are all fine cymbals but come to find out- my original ride that always needs tape is my favorite and never lets me down.

I use all my cymbals as rides and crashes, so, I've included the 18's on the pictures.

All of them are Zildjian K Istanbul.

Looks like you also have a backup 401k in a pinch.

I've made enough ride cymbal changes that I figure I should start all over:

Currently on my set:

Left: 22" K Ride (2822g)
Right: 22" K-Con Bounce (2536g)

Currently not in use:

Left: 22" K Heavy (3416g) — sometimes replaces 22" K Ride on setup
Center: 21" A Sweet (2343g)
Right: 22" A Avedis Dark (2864g)

Currently unavailable to photograph or weigh (on semi-permanent loan to my sister):

20" K Heavy

Finally time for me to contribute! Here's the current lineup (some are for sale):

22" Bosphorus Black Pearl

Great stick sound with a short crash. Good for softer, quieter genres

21" Bosphorus New Orleans

This is my #1. It has everything I want in a ride; great stick sound, low wash, great bell clarity, short quick crash

20" Bosphorus Wide Ride

I totally forgot I had this ride! I pulled it out of the closet the other day and banged around on it. It's like the opposite of the Black Pearl; loud, pangy, washy, and decays for days. Usually I stay away from these kinds of rides, but this one has something about it which makes me want to keep it.

20" Meinl Pure Alloy

A great all-around ride for pretty much any genre. Not as pangy or washy as the Wide Ride, but still has some decent decay and good stick definition. Although I like this one, I don't love it so it is currently for sale.

20" K Con Medium

Fantastic ride overall, but not my cup of tea. This is also for sale.

22" Kerope

The latest acquisition to complete a Kerope set. This one is interesting. Obviously it looks awesome and it feels good when I play it, but I'm not totally in love with the sound. I keep trying to like it, but that instant love I got from the New Orleans ride just isn't there with this one. I'm still on the fence with it and may end up selling it at some point.

I also have an 18" Kerope crash/ride, but I wasn't sure if that qualifies as a ride.
