oh yeah, Tinman, I've seen that pic on TGP. Crazy! Love those Gretsch guitars!

I finally got the vintage Jazzmaster I've been craving - here it is with my '66 Blackface Vibrolux. (and pedalboard and fun Partsmaster.)

I don't play guitar either but our boys do. The oldest one builds them. Here's one of his.

79' Guild S-70.

Less than 250 on record as ever being made, and this one is a custom color (making it even rarer within that) with a 1pc mahogany body and Strat config with 3 Dimarzio singles.

Absolutely my favorite guitar. Best sounding and best playing guitar I've ever played and owned, even with the frets as low as they are. It's still perfect. It'l need a refret within the next year or two.

My only truly vintage bass is this 1972 Telecaster.

I do have a 1987 MIJ Precision. (Which is getting old, but I wouldn't call it vintage.)

Just picked up a '79 Yamaha FG512. It's on the work bench now but I'll post some pictures when it's done.

Is 1985 considered vintage? If so, my main guitar is an '85 MIJ Fernandes LE-1, modded beyond all hope of ever being original again. I just made it play and sound the wayI wanted it to play and sound. And I recently acquired a 1975 Gibson Marauder.

1962 Gretsch Country Gentleman, the same model that George Harrison played on the Ed Sullivan Show!

Such good condition that the finish reflects my chicken legs!

Edit: It keeps posting my pics sideways...

Beautiful Gretsch. I have a buddy who has it's twin but is a '64.

Very nice!

Has anyone said to you, "Say, are those your legs or are you riding a chicken?" I've heard it too many times. :evil5:

No, but I'm going to remember that one!

I'm not a good guitar player by any means, but that guitar has ruined me. I'm a hollow body snob now...

Just picked up a Stratocaster that's old enough to buy alcohol.
