Whole milk with Bosco or U-Bet based on market price, but the secret is that it was non homogenized and unpasteurized. Thats why the FDA forced them to switch to clear interiors in the 70’s

A Slingy QC sleuth was instructed to infiltrate the Gretsch plant in 1966 seeking their secret formula....indeed, he found Gretsch was using silver fence paint, thus Slingy introduced tan fence paint, aka chocolate milk.

It's all on the internet..................now.

BREAKING NEWS:

DW is re-introducing the Slingerland line of drums later this year. The shell construction will be from wood salvaged from the deck of the Edmund Fitzgerald at the bottom of Lake Superior, and will be single ply with re-rings. Interior finish is TBD, however sources report that Mr. Good of DW has recently purchased significant acreage in an almond farm adjacent to DW's facilities. Thus considerable speculation exists that "almond chocolate milk" interiors are on the horizon.

What note does almond milk vibrate at?
