Slingerland bass drum spurs thread size?

I recently acquired an early 70's Slingerland kit and the bass drum spur mounts are stripped. The wing screws for the mounts are also missing. I want to put helicoils in the mounts and find the correct size wing screws. However, I don't know what size the threads are supposed to be. I know they are larger than the normal (for that era) 1/4 - 20 thread. Can any of the Slingerland experts help me out? Thanks.

Sure! That size Heli-coil kit is harder to come by than the 5/16-18 kit. Well worth it though and you won't have to worry about stripped threads once the mounts are repaired.

Luckily we have that size kit where I work so I'm good to go. Now I just need to find a pair of wing screws. The kit had the mounts and the spurs but the wing screws were missing.
