Honestly, those are absolutely as well-done as can be, and that outer ply is beautiful, but a de-wrapped example of a kit where a no-excuses-specimen can struggle to crack a grand on eBay is tough.

If it was mine, I'd be happy to get $750, and would probably keep it under the not-going-to-get-enough-to-make-it-worth-not-having-around permanent gear clause.

Let whoever has to clean out my basement when I croak sell it for $5 at a yard sale, because I'll be dead and won't care.

You didn't list the size of the bass drum, but I'm guessing a 14x22?

As CaptainCrunch mentioned, $750 seems fair. The refinish appears very well done. You only need to find that one drummer your kit appeals to. Good luck!

Yes 13 22 16
They were nitro lacquer sprayed in a high end cabinet shop the finish is pro quality all the way.
For 750 I might have to go The Captains route.... $5 when the old lady sells them.

Thanks Mac. No more kits for me, have all I need really. Going to retire and move into a smaller place in the not too distant future. I dont want to worry about all this drum gear when that time comes. As I mentioned have had these for 40 yrs...Im now on the downsize end of the collecting spectrum .

Might as well see if we can squeeze a little more value out of these bad boys!

Not original finish? Yes. Not a factory matched kit? Yes.
Would I want them, as a drummer who appreciates vintage kits? Hell yes.!
That is a great kit, regardless of original finish, or whether they came from the factory together.
Yeah, a little under $1000.

i have an orphaned slingerland wmp kit since 1996. 13 amd 22 are rewrapped. 16 is original wmp.

all drums are from 70s.

my point? they will outlast most marriages! i am still playing my orphaned kit since 1996 every week during lessons or personal practice time. could gig them in a heartbeat as they have literally played jazz, classic rock, rockabilly, punk rock, hardcore, polka, and psychedelic rock over the past 20+ years.

indoors, outdoors, cold, hot, raining, doesnt matter. Slingerland kits last!!!

your kit that you are selling are worth $750 or more! that is a lifetime investment that could recoup their value 25 years from now.
