I have an issue with my snare, specifically with the wires. Every time I practice with my band, my snare wires loosen a little bit, not too much, but enough to make the wires sound weird. When I practice alone, this problem doesn't happen, its only when I practice with my band. Has anyone experience this problem? how did you solve it? (i have a ludwing supralite 14x6,5)

You are probably hitting harder with your band, and the strainer is backing out a bit. Not sure which strainer you have, but I’ve fixed a lot of them with this problem by applying a few layers of Teflon tape around the threads on the strainer.

I'm not sure on the strainer, but on my 6.5" Acro reissue with a P85 strainer I had real issues with the snare wires losing tension in a matter of minutes. I realised it didn't have a spring or the rubber ring on the thread of the adjustment knob. I went down to a local hardware shop & got a spring that puts some pressure to resist losing tension and that's helped heaps.
