So I was board today looking at all my snare drums and decided to take this standard Yamaha sd225 and take it all apart and wrap it in a pastel purple vinyl with mint inlays on the hoops. Gonna save this for my daughter.

Cute. My daughter had a purple sparkle Tempus snare with Slingerland hardware. She stopped playing so I sold it. Dummy!!!!

From the title, I was expecting a thread on steam bent snare shells, or sump’m.

I'm always happy to see that it's not just me that notices these things.
Of course using “loose” when meaning to “lose” drives me much crazier, and it’s starting to take over. Ugh.

Cute and very Miami 80's! Was that vinyl fabric? Vinyl tape? Other? How was it applied?
