Vistalite Black
Ludwigs in the Basement
While Vistalite Black does not golf -- not my crowd -- this is an appalling way to treat the "Sex on Fire" skinsman who has powered Kings of Leon to arena-level status with more than 20 million records sold.
From the DailyMail:
Kings of Leon drummer Nathan Followill has been left fuming after a prestigious Sydney golf course asked him to cover up his tattoos before entering the venue.
On Tuesday, the 43-year-old drummer, who is currently touring Australia with the American rock band, blasted the 'bucket list course' for their 'outdated no tattoo policy'.
'A Sydney bucket list golf course for me just went on the (expletive) it list,' he raged on Twitter.
'I was told I would have to cover up my tattoos due to a 'no tattoo policy'. Welcome to the 1950's and a hell of a way to grow the game' ...
... Nathan went on to joke he would invite the golf course bosses to his Sydney concert, but they wouldn't be allowed to entry if they didn't get a new tattoo.
'I will invite them to our show but they will have to show a fresh tattoo to get in,' he Tweeted.
While Nathan didn't name the venue, The Australian Golf Club in Kensington and the picturesque Royal Sydney Golf Club in Rose Bay both require 'prominent tattoos' to be covered.
Daily Mail Australia has contacted The Australian Golf Club and Royal Sydney Golf Club for comment.
Royal Sydney Golf Club said: 'As our course has been closed for turfcare maintenance since Sunday, this likely occurred somewhere else. Given that, it wouldn’t be appropriate for the club to make a comment on this.'
Kings of Leon are currently touring all around Australia.
They will be performing in Mildura, Victoria on Saturday, before heading to Sydney, Queensland, Melbourne and Perth.
The band is made up of brothers Caleb, Jared and Nathan Followill and their cousin Matthew Followill.
Their mega hits include Sex Is On Fire and Use Somebody.
They formed in 1999 and went on to find huge international success, boasting 12 Grammy Award nominations and four wins.
