That weight is correct? If so, that’s the lightest 16” K Light top possibly on record.

I thought so as well, I know other ones I’ve seen are in the 1200g range, but yeah this one weighed almost exactly 2lbs. Unless my conversion is off somewhere, that came out at 907. It’s really bendable. I’ll check it again just to be sure.

Bump with a price drop. $375 shipped. I still haven't been able to double check the weight of the top hat, but I will asap.

Was finally able to weigh the top hat again. I was way off, by a full pound lol. Original post has been edited.

bump. I'm finally able to get a sound sample recorded, so I'll get that up soon.

I would also consider trades for thinner hats, 15", 16" or even 17"

I bet these sound amazing.
I bought a pair around 2007 and they're some of my absolute favorite hats to play -- I still haven't found a situation where they didn't work. They're easy to get a thin, tight "tick" sound, or more chunky, full sound when loosened a bit and played closer to the edges, and obviously they can "slosh" for days. Although I've continued to buy hats and use others depending on the other cymbals I need for the gig, but If I could only keep one pair of hi-hats it would probably be them.

*I think mine are very close to the same weights as these.
