December 1st, 1966 to be exact. This drum just had a birthday a month ago. It's 55 years old! Yup, the hardware is pitted, hard to find a drum this old that's not pitted. The shell however is in pretty good condition, and the drum sounds amazing! Everything is original except for the new Emperor X batter head. $365.00 shipped in the Cont. US only. Still kicking myself for selling my very nice and 100% original Dec 1967 example about 2-1/2 yrs ago for $225 to a college Jazz student.
At that time Acro's still hadn't quite taken off. At least in went to a good home.
