14x22 kick
8x12 rack tom
9x13 rack tom
16x16 floor tom

Everything on these drums is original and in perfect shape. The only blemish of the kit is a small tube of some sort screwed into the bass drum. I’m asking $650 plus ship. Located in Cleveland Heights, Ohio and willing to meet to avoid shipping costs.

I'm a fan too. Of all the drum kits I have owned, these tuned up the most consistent. Great drums and hardware that are built like a Mack truck.....and very underrated.

Beautiful kit for a very fair price! How often do you see this? I can remember being knocked out by the looks of these kits when they first went on sale. They still impress me now, too.

If anyone is on the fence about buying these, pull the trigger. I buy and sell vintage drums for a portion of my living. I also play about 100 gigs a year. I could play almost any vintage kit out there. What's my only gigging kit? An ebony big R kit identical to this.

The Big R 5-ply drums are very underrated! For any members here who also frequent VDF, you may recall that I recently finished restoring an early 1976 Big R kit, wrapped in New England White. I'll be listing it for sale locally and, like the OP, also decided that $650 would be a good price. The only difference with the kit I'll be offering are the sizes of the mounted toms...9x13 and 10x14.

What I've been seeing for just about every "Londoner-style" of Big R kit, is that the right-side tom (from the drummers position) always seems to have the badge in the same location as the left-side tom. The 10x14 tom has the badge in the correct position!

I wish the OP good luck with his sale. They are fine drums!

Yup, if I didn’t already have a Holiday kit with a 22, they’d be mine I tell you! Someone get this great kit!
