SOLD: Gretsch USA Custom kit (9x13, 16x16, 16x18, 14x22) with Beato Pro 1 cases

Gretsch USA Custom kit in Nitron Black Glass. 9x13, 16x16, 16x18 and 14x22 virgin bass drum. The kit was shipped from the factory in July of 2019 to the drum shop where I bought them. I purchased these for a series of dates on big stages that was ultimately canceled due to the pandemic...Not the first show happened. So they are still like new and absolutely gorgeous. They have been to possibly 5 shows tops, and otherwise stored inside the Beato Pro 1 bags in the studio drum storage area, climate controlled of course. The toms have Remo Ambassador X Coated heads on top, and factory Remo/Gretsch clear on bottom. The bass drum has Remo Powerstroke 3 batter with factory logo head (5" port hole). The factory Rims mount (not pictured) is included for the 9x13 tom, of course. I will include a brand new set of Beato Pro 1's, which are some of the best bags out there in my opinion. $2800 net to me buys them. Local pickup in north/central FL is ideal, but shipping is also an option as a last resort.

Update: due to crack in the bass drum shell (thanks FedEx) now discounted to $1800, local pickup in NE Florida, please. Please see post #18 below for detailed pics and further info.

Thank you. The snare in the last pic is indeed an 8 lug NOB Ludwig 4x14 from the 20's. It is not included lol. I use it for a couple songs here and there live, but usually it stays in the studio.

I’m also surprised these haven’t found a new home. Best I remember, I paid around $650 just for the Beato Pro 1’s including the crazy rates of shipping.

Howdy guys, this kit is now back up for sale.

Long story short, this kit was sold to a fellow forum member, and unfortunately, FedEx managed to crack the bass drum shell during transit. This is despite the drum being double boxed and inside its Beato Pro 1 case.

The kit arrived back to me safely, and I've played it out at two gigs, both with close miking and large subs out front. There is no audible issues as a result of the bass drum crack, and it is not visable from the outside of the shell. However the shell is indeed cracked. This has made me sick, as you can imagine. The bass drum was insured for $1000, and FedEx is honoring the claim, however I had to eat the return shipping on the kit (ouch!). I'm offering this kit back up for sale and passing the $1000 discount on. So... $1800 buys this kit. Local pickup only around northeast FL, please...preferably around Gainesville or Jacksonville. Full set of brand new Beato Pro 1 cases included.

Wow that’s one heck of a crack. Can’t imagine what FedEx did to that poor thing to do that much damage. Sorry you had to go through that and hope you find another buyer! If I was local I’d be all over this.
