Sold: Leedy Snare Drum(s)

Hi all,

I’ve got a pair of Leedy snares available for sale:

1. SOLD Leedy Reliance 14x5 Nickel Over Brass. All original aside from heads, wires and clips. Clips are all brand new nob from DFD. No mods or extra holes. Throw off works perfectly. I believe this drum was made around 1938-1942. Fantastic shape for its age. $500 and will split shipping 50/50. Local pickup in western NY available. US 48 shipping only.

2. SOLD Leedy 14x5 Duco finish. All original as far as I can tell, aside from heads, wires and a few clips. No mods or extra holes. Mahogany shell with maple rings I believe. Throw off works perfectly. Unable to make out date stamp. December 6th 19__…. Great condition for age. $385 and will split shipping 50/50. Local pickup in western NY available. US 48 shipping only

Both drums hold tuning really well and sound great. Well taken care of and used in jazz settings.

Not really interested in trades unless you’ve got a Sonor Prolite 14x5/5.5 wood or brass or newest version of Yamaha RC Brass 14x5.5. Thanks for looking and message me with any questions or if interested.

As far as I know, throw off came with drum. Original owner said he never swapped it out and bought it new. No additional holes either. All I know for sure is the above and that it works really well. SOLD
