These 2 drums were bought new and were immediately sent to John Aldridge for engraving. The 5x14 features a Leedy type Thunderbird pattern. The 6.5x14 adorns the classic Fleur de Lis. Both drums are fitted with the Ludwig p-86 Milennial throwoff, and the original umplayed Ludwig heads. Asking $875 for the 6.5x14 and $850 for the 5x14. I might be able to offer a deal if you buy the set of 2. Buyer to pay actual shipping and they will be fully insured.

Wow, really cool looking snares. Aside from a few taps, were they played or are they brand new.

Pretty much like new. I had to take them apart and send the bare shells to John for engraving. Then I reassembled them and I tuned the Ludwig heads.

What's the butt plate on the 6.5 and will you do trades? Does it have a badge? Please PM me......
The butt is the newer Ludwig diecast piece not the older stamped type. Message me what you have to offer and I will at least check the stuff out. Wouldn’t mind a Craviotto or like drum.

That is the butt that these drums come with. The badge is in the pictures, looks like the newer small one. Don't really think the price can improve much right now, thanks.

Those are super cool!
I agree on price, they’re a steal at the price listed.
Wish I had the cash!

Stunning works of art... John is a master and that is a wonderful canvas for him to work on. GLWS

I did upgrade the P-85 to a P-86 Millennium strainer. I thought the design added a little class. Some guys like big butts and some trimmer butts :)
