Wow. That hardware is Glorious.

...I wonder how big that next stimulus check will be...
Thanks for the positive feedback. I likely minimized how clean the hardware is for this high desert set. The chrome looks new on much of the set. Rust sleep below 40% RH! I can only imagine how good it will look once it’s actually polished.

Add’l pics.

Didn't Alex Acuna play a Rogers kit in this format (but not this color)? Garibaldi, too?

Interesting. Not sure. I’ll have to look into it. Thanks. I know someone here posted a pic of of Bill or Mickey of GD playing a Block set but I don’t recall the configuration. I believe the long time drummer for Elton John has been playing a Block for decades as well. They are a riot to play but I just need the space. The concert toms sold today. I dislike breaking up sets yet this will open the door for local drummers to pickup a nice Rogers set for cheap.

Billy had two different butcher block sets. A 5 piece traditional sized set in 1972 ("Sunshine Daydream" 8/27/72 video) and a concert tom set in 1974 (The Grateful Dead Movie).

On point! Excellent! I’ve kept them thinking I’d be back gigging China Rider and the like but it just hasn’t played out that way in my new community. This discussion is giving me mixed feelings about letting them go.

The Rogers connection remained strong in the Dead even when they went to Sonor, updating to the Memlock tom mounts on both sides of the rosewood phonics.
