Here’s one that doesn’t come up very often, a Rogers 6.5x14 brass Powertone. This one is an 8 lug Fullerton drum in pretty nice shape for being almost 45 years old. Chrome on shell is pretty good with a thin scratch on one panel, no dents to mention. The correct tall arm strainer shows pitting and the lugs show some pitting, but the drum sounds amazing, really crisp full and sensitive with a wide tuning range. I’ve only ever seen 2 of these before this one. Asking $675 OBO shipped to the Lower 48. No trades

Wow! I've never seen a 6.5x14 Cob Powertone. If I wasn't in a selling mode, I would be buying this rare beast myself. If you haven't had dealings with Scott, you are missing out! Scott has been a friend of mine for over 25 years and he is honest as the day is long. His drums are always the best of the best and he will pack it better than any manufacturer originally did! I really would love this drum...but, I have to stay focused on selling! GLWS!.

Now you are talking! Great drum and fair price. Anybody who has a Rogers kit should look closely at this drum. It will quickly become your go to drum. GLWS

Thanks for all the props studrum, Treviso1, and Powertone! This is a great player and rare as hens teeth. It is sad because I am attached to these drums in some way, but like you Rob, I need stay focused and pass them on to the next drum family.

A deeper 6.5x14 must just be the bomb. You have priced it downright cheap, Scott! Someone jump on this please... I am getting weak!

This is a GREAT price on a super, ultra rare drum. Come on...when was the last time you saw a 6.5x14 Cob Powertone? How about, never? I haven't ever seen one in person or photo!

LOL! Thanks Rob, you are correct, I have only ever seen 3 and that was in 35 years of vintage drum watching. Most of the others stay with the owners' collection, but I am letting this one go. Maybe it goes to eBay after this weekend?

Heck yeah, open this up to the entire world. Too many cheapos here not appreciating how cool and rare of a drum this Cob truly is.
