For sale is a TRS Studio Series Maple Piccolo Snare (3.75 x 14). Lacquer finish in “midnight stain” - it is purple-ish / blue-ish, you can see the wood grain through it - very classy looking with the black chrome hoops. Painted white interior, wooden badge, sharp and precise bearing edges, great for brush work and has a great huge tuning range from down low and fat to very high and crisp. Thanks. This is most definitely not a one trick pony, like other piccolos I have played. It's got plenty of body and takes to low tunings extremely well.

If you end up having to keep this drum, I,d be looking for something else to sell. Replacement cost for that drum is far more than your asking price, and you will lose on this deal at that price. I know the market is "upside down" right now, but if I were you, I,d put the drum away so its out of sight for awhile, or set it up, and play it...glws.

Thanks, Wayne, and you are absolutely right. This is a great drum at a great deal. I'd love to give it a new home, but I can't "give" it away. I think most people in the states are simply not familiar with TRS. At this point, I'll just keep it.

As you say; "not familiar" are the words most custom builders end up having to accept as reality, and close the doors. It has happened more times than I can count, including myself..People will argue day and night that a boutique builders product is as good as the big guys, and while that may be the case, resale is where it hurts.
