For sale is a WFL wood snare drum that I bought a few years ago, cleaned it up, and am now looking for a good home for it. It was made in the 1950's, I think, and is in good condition. I can provide additional pictures, if you need them.

I am looking to sell it to a local buyer, as I do not want to ship it. So, if you live in the Cleveland, Akron area, let me know. It is 10" x 14".

I am in Richfield Ohio, and am asking $150.

Really?? It’s 9x14, not your average 1950’s snare drum!

With all respect to the OP, I'm guessing it's really 10x14. Looks like a fine drum! Complete and intact. Some might not like the single tension dealio (I can make those work, especially as a tom), but you do get 8 "lugs" (some of these would have had 6), so that's a bonus.

And that wood will be sea-SONED, big time!

I'll measure again.

I use one of these exact same drums as a floor tom with my 12-20 3 ply ludwigs because they’re so much cheaper than a matched floor tom. It sounds great! Carter Mcclean has a great demo of one of these drums.

You are correct, sir. I measured again and it is 10X14. I will make the change.

exactly. this would make a hell of a floor tom for an old school Levon type kit.
