SOLD, thanks to all who checked out the listing.

This is my first Marketplace post here, so some quick background:

- Buying and selling on eBay since 1999
- Buying and selling on TalkBass since 2004
- Joined Drumforum in 2015
- Buying and selling on Reverb since 2016

This is a 14" x 12" Yamaha marching snare that came to me set up for high tuning drumline playing and with original white wrap that had been "customized" with added paint.
The original wrap was removed, the 7 ply birch shell was cleaned and prepped for a rewrap with black galaxy as shown in the photos.
The new wrap is not the world's highest quality, but serves the purpose. It is fastened with 2 sided tape at the start and the overlap only, so can be easily removed for other wrap or finish choices.
Original badge and grommet have been retained.

Bearing edges have been trued and recut. Snare beds recut slightly as needed.
Hardware is all original and has been cleaned. Nylon washers were added to the tension rods.

The Fiber Tech synthetic gut snares are in excellent shape and tune up readily.
The drum was set up for drum kit tuning with an Evans Genera HD batter head and an Evans Orchestral 300 snare side head.

I'll post a sound sample to give an idea of what type of sound we were going for with this conversion. The territory inspired by Levon Helm and others.

Snare stand shown in photos not included. I can post more photos if needed.
Shipped well packed. $165.00 plus shipping cost to CONUS addresses.

Thanks for looking, Will

Here's a sound sample to give a general idea of the snare sound we were going for with this drum:

Good idea, thanks.
I wasn't sure if I should do that since this drum began as a marcher instead of a tom that had snares added to it.
But I guess it qualifies for the category. It was a Snom before Snoms became a thing.
