I’ve been back and forth on selling this for awhile, but after setting it up recently, I realize that I’m just not into big kits any longer and it should go to someone who will appreciate.

The sound of these drums is simply incredible and exactly what you’d expect or have heard about.
Mid-80’s (I think ‘86- I’ll verify) Yamaha 8000’s in rare traditional/standard depths and the desirable (to many), Cobalt Blue. Comes with time period, Le Blond, fiber cases. Some of the leather straps will need to be replaced soon, but overall, they are also in great shape. Coated Emperors and Ambassadors now on drums.

While there are a couple of dings, here and there, this kit is, overall, in amazing condition. Purchased from the original owner a few years back- he played them out and loved them, and it shows!

I’ll add more pictures, as I am able, and will also take pics of each side of every drum, for a serious buyer.

Can’t believe no one has jumped on these. Some great sounding tubs and great sizes. That’s also one of the best Yamaha drum finishes in my opinion.
