I am letting go of my Gretsch New Classic 3 piece drum set in bop sizes in black sparkle finish. The finish sometimes has a hint of gold, brown, even a little purple in different lighting. I got this off of a forumite a couple of years ago - larger sizes just suit my needs more nowadays.

8x12
14x14
14x18

The New Classic series has been discontinued that featured all maple proprietary Gretsch shells with graduating thicknesses. These shells sing! This kit is in great shape, with some light scuffs but no major issues.

Looking to get $1000 shipped OBO

Curious is it possible to take the "rims' holder -off- the small tom?

I see it's attached "in-between" the twin post lug ; Thanks

Could look like (I think their intention) a new "classic" (or) a "vintage Gladstone"
A mount directly onto the 12 shell ..I've seen em like that...dramatically changes the appearance.
It's a class (..) Vintage looking set --- GLWS
I like em.
nice price and everything

In order to take off the mount, you need to remove the lugs. Supposedly, there are little screws inside the threading that hold the lug together.
I use mine with the tom hanging from a cymbal stand.

Guess I don’t get it.
Used to have a set of these, take the tension rod out and the mount falls off. Careful not to scratch the lacquer.

Phil
The mount is captured between the tube lug posts, has nothing to do with the tension rods.

This. Drumphils, you might be confusing this mounting system with RIMS or Pearl Optimounts.

I love my GNC!
