Happened to flip over a chair today and look what was under the seat...wow! Not that I’ve looked that hard, but I can’t say I’ve seen another piece of Jasper furniture. Maybe I’ll take the tag to go along with my Round Badge project...or use it as a throne?

Anyone else seen any Jasper furniture in the wild?

Fun find, and a great idea.

Reminded me right away of this old thread.

That’s pretty cool. It’s too bad they stopped making shells.

I visited Jasper Woodworking while Gretsch was down with their paint booth problem, 20 odd years ago??? They never got another order from Gretsch but didn't know that was going to happen.

They had an enormous plant and made all kinds of furniture, office furniture in particular, and store fixtures. I got the whole tour. The room where they made the drum shells (and cylinders for other purposes) had heavy steel cable netting attached to the ceiling and walls. The sales manager told me they did that during WWII because the giant wood bending machines interfered with the instruments of planes flying over. Old school, looked like something from a Jules Verne novel.
