We've all heard songs that mention the drummer briefly in a verse - but how about complete songs about the drummer?
Here's a couple I stumbled across today:

Supposedly written about a fictional character based on Hal Blaine.
It's most likely Hal drumming as well since he worked on a lot of Nancy's music

Cute.
sort of a Marvelettes vibe.

Thought of this the other day when I heard this song.

If it's not him on the recording, it certainly was when she was live. I think it is him, though, in both.

Definitely "based", and very loosely, since he was a teetotaler who lived in Lee J. Cobb's house in the Hollywood Hills, and yachted in his spare time.

Robert Wyatt on being himself (which evidently entails both being short and being a drummer).

Drummer Ed McTaggart sat out the Swirling Eddies sessions ... they brought in "Hort Elvison" (Dave Raven) to sit upon the drum throne. This is the tune that marked the Missing Ed.
