Here's a bunch of random pics of Sonor kits I've owned over the past few years. They are all history at this point as I've settled on the stuff in my sig. It was a blast playing them though. If anyone has any questions about any of them feel free to pipe up!

My previous kit was a Sonor. And a super rare one at that too.

A factory order Horst Link Signature Special Edition (bubinga vineer, maple shells, laquered, and rubber spacers) in short sizes (a foreseeing eye that original owner jazz/fusion drummer Kim Weemhoff had).

8x8, 10x8, 12x8, 14x14, 16x17, 22x15, 18x16.

As a Chester Thompson fan this was the ultimate kit for that purpose.

After 30 years of Pearl, Tama, Ludwig, Gretsch, GMS, and Brady (and a few others)… I dipped my toe in Sonor waters.

Prolites in Ebony White Stripes. Prolite brass snare. And just recently Ascents in Natural (lacquer).

Where has this drum company been all my life???

I love the tonal qualities of the undersized shell, the design of the (400/600) hardware, and the choice of maple / birch / beech woods with vintage / thin / medium / thick ply setups.

I’m converted, and that’s bad for my budget!

Such an amazing kit. Most of the Signatures were deep toms which I’m not crazy about but the standard depth toms are simply stunning.
