Here’s one of the better recorded demo’s I’ve found online for a Sonor phonic kit. I always say my phonic kit would be the last to go. Here’s why.

Earlier this year I bought my first acoustic kit in 10+ years -- a Sonor AQ2 Bop kit in Titanium Quartz. I also got the Benny Greb beechwood snare 2.0 and added a 10" tom. The AQ2 for the money has been terrific! But the bug has kept biting me and I just pulled the trigger on a Sonor Vintage 320 kit in California Blue. Should be here some time next week and I can't wait.

Yes they sound amazing right out of the box, I didn’t even need to do any tuning.

Beautiful kit man! I always get a laugh when people say they have to change out all the heads on a budget kit that they bought to save money on! Enjoy that gorgeous instrument! Love the finish and shell layup too.

I'm happy with the cheap PDP kit I have, but I'll buy another kit sooner or later. And it will be a Sonor, so I'll watch this thread.
