All Maple with high gloss imitation bubinga . Bass drum is medium, Tom and Floor tom are thin, snare is vintage.

Nice.. you are one of the few that I have seen that went thin on toms.. How do you like them ?

I love the sound, I've had them for 9 years now and I'm the second owner, these are my second newest set. Had a set of S-classix in the same sizes (other than the 18x16" bass drum for the S-classix ) and loved those too , I think the SQ2 sound very similar but look nicer.

Steve Maxwell had a thin tom SQ2 jazz kit in his shop.. they were the most resonant drums I have heard in his store.

Picked these Prolites up earlier in the week. They were in DIRE NEED of a deep cleaning. Price was more than right though considering it was mostly elbow grease and a few heads to get them back to looking like this. Still waiting on Sonor logo decal. I love Sonor's blue sparkle. Rare sizes with the shorter rack toms and bass drum with square floor toms. 22x15, 10x7, 12x8, 14x14, 16x16.

Beautiful. Same sizes as my Gretsch except my kick is 22x14. By the way, here’s a clip from the Smokey Robinson show

An absolute genius! I saw him at Trump Plaza casino years ago w/ Marv Tarplin on guitar. Just a fantastic show. I grew up listening to and playing Motown songs. Thanks for the clip. Appreciate it!
