Emerald Multi Brilliant seems to be the most common satin flame to show up in the US
That's a transition 3 ply from 65 most likely
The original 3 plys had a side tom mount, yours is on the center position which is where it went for 6 ply starting in 65
I have one in the same finish, 3 ply center post 20 and the toms are 6 ply
Interesting information! My kit is dated August 1965 and all the shells are 3 ply except for the snare.

Very nice indeed. I wouldn't need the snare drum though, im ok with snares. Did you say you have the 12" tom as well?

The matching rosewood D471 snare was Sonors first drum to feature veneer on the inside. Only seen pics of a few of those. Lovely set.

I just bought a mint condition teardrop rosewood 13, 16, 20 and metal SD for $1,800 so that price your looking for is on par with market.

I got it to finish my shell bank for matching 12, 14, 18 bop kit. So I can have several configurations. Typically I use 12, 14FT, 16FT, and 18BD. But adding a 13 or switching to a 20 is a nice luxury.

Absolutely the most gorgeous drums ever made. And they sound incredibly warm and round. Less punchy then phonics but same sonor beech sound. ♥

I don't want to derail the tread, but yes the toms and bass drum are 3 ply with re-rings
Yours must be one of the last 3-ply kits. Based on the center-mounted tom bracket and the plastic wing nuts, I would have guessed it is a 1966 6-ply kit ( I had one of those).
