So I got another solid deal from Sonor Canada and thought I would share it with you fine folks !
Sonor Vintage usually comes in 3 pce shell packs, either 20, 12,14 or 22,13,16. I decided to add a 12 incher to the 22,13,16 pack and make it a 4 pce . Set it up nicely, Jim Riley style :)
This set is just about $3100USD for the 3 pce shell packs pretty much everywhere. You can buy this 4 Pce for ...

$2895 USD plus shipping !

I will include two single tom arms with the set too, which usually is not a part of these sets.

Cheers,
Murat

I've never played a Sonor kit before. This one makes me want to! Not sure what's drawing me to it but it sure catches my eye.

I have a vintage WMP 22/13/16 Rogers Celebrity kit that is in almost new condition (my worship/big band/rock kit) and a red sparkle Canopus Yaiba Bop kit.

I wasn't really looking for a vintage kit when I found the Rogers kit for sale locally a few years ago. Now I'm really attached to it. The Canopus kit is a new acquisition replacing a DW Collectors bop kit I sold recently. I'm just getting to know it, but so far am very impressed.

You have great stuff. I am a big Canopus fan myself and always have a Yaiba bop in stock. They are gems that people should know more about.
I guess this Beech set might be a great addition to your already cool collection. Let me know if it comes to that.

I can say from first hand in person experience that this Sonor Vintage kit is absolutely beautiful and sounds truly amazing. I would snap it up in a heartbeat if I didn't already have my dream kit, Yamaha PHX.

I know the 12" & 13" rack toms are not for everyone but look at it this way, you can play 1up and have a choice whether to use 12" or the 13" depending on your project's sonic requirements.

You'd only need to ad a 14" floor, 18" floor and 10" tom for the ultimate shell bank and I'm sure Murat would be happy to help you out!.

One thing I really love about Sonor is how they honor their rich history.

I am sure you guys are aware that this finish is based on a 1970s offering found here on a Swinger

I remember this one for sure. Was it called Turkish Blue at the time? That's how I remember it .

And for the folks who are interested, the matching snare has arrived as well !
