sound difference between a 15x10 and 15x12 tom?

i’m going to order new drums soon, and i wanna go big. i’m wondering if the sound difference between a shallower 15x10 tom is noticeable when compared to a 15x12. i’m guessing a shallower tom is sharper and more reactive with less emphasis on the low fundamental, considering air moves through the shell faster.

Is this meant to be a floor tom or rack? As a RT, 10"depth is more convenient. As a FT, I would go for 15x12, a more solid sound. With shallower depth, playing harder might add more pitch bend and less fundamental tone in relation to batter head sounds.
Speed of attack in my experience varies more with different shell types than depth.

I use a 12X15 tom as a hanging FT.....sounds great.
Playing coated Emp over clear Ambo, with low tuning.

What size bass drum are you planning to pair it with? I have 14x12 with my 26” and for ergonomics a 14x10 probably would be better although the 12” is fine once you adjust to it

17x12 and 15x10 on the floor. had a 15x12, but this gives more separation.
