Too late if you’d have asked this question yesterday morning I would have put the micrometer on one but it’s now all back together. I’d guess 2.3 mm heavy duty.

Are they all brass? I also noticed their beefiness a few days ago.

I just found my early 60s Slingerland champagne solid shell snare and some of the Chrome has worn off. I don't know what model it is off the top of my head but it has the two level butt plate and zoomatic throw. It is pristine other than the partial flaky COB rim.....

I love the S Hoops. If I had extra money I’d replace them on all my drums top and bottom.
I currently have them on a vintage Ludwig and I love it.
