It covers Laurel Canyon and the folk to rock music transition in the 60's. Byrds, Buffalo Springfield, and Beach Boys all mentioned. Lots of folks from the era mentioned and interviewed. Well worth a watch if like me the sound of a Rickenbacker 12 string delights your soul.

Aww that a few months back and loved it . It was really well done . Crosby is still prickly some as some things change some things stay the same .

Thankfully, it’s not all old hippies. Jakob Dylan, Fiona Apple, Regina Spector and Josh Homme help bring things up to date. Well, if 90s were up to date, but still.

Really dug it! Especially the clip with Buffalo Springfield on TV. Trippy!

Viewed it out of boredom and fell asleep halfway thru, but I'm not a huge fan of that scene to begin with.
I am, however a big fan of Joni and the Mamas/Papas, but only them, to be honest.

Once owned a Rick 12 string like McGuinn's. One of my great musical regrets was parting with that
