I've played around with recording Roland drums before but I used the stock sounds from module snd recorded an audio track
I'm going to attempt to record with superior drummer 3 midi sounds into the superior drummer track recorder or garage band

any preferences or tips . I'm used to GB program but wonder what u use

I've done both, the easiest, with minimal setup is to record right in Superior. If you're recoding guitar, bass etc. you'd need Garage band for those loops.

To give you some more responses(!)

I don't use Apple-stuff. I've always used Cakewalk/Sonar. This is now free.

I always record the MIDI then use that to drive the sounds I want (hardware or software)
