I noticed the name a couple of years ago, but never gave it much thought. After reading Namn reviews and seeing a ton of advertising lately, it seems these folks are the main players in on line shopping for all sorts of gear. Is that the case now?
+1Sweetwater has been my go to for a number of years now as most of the others (Musician's Friend, Music 123, Woodwind etc) are all owned by GC. Sweetwater has great service and pretty much if it's made they have it, I still try to buy local but I also support Sweetwater enough so that they will keep being an option.
Is that the case now?
Well I got the "bit-o-honeys" and it pulled one of my crowns out! I'll never shop there again! They screwed up the mix of candy in my shipping box once. Too many Tootsie Rolls: not enough Bit O Honey. I was devastated and haven't bought from them since.
Yeah, if they sent only Bit O Honey I'd probably be buying more than I already do...yes I know I could just go buy some bit o honey at the store but it wouldn't come with a free cymbal! They screwed up the mix of candy in my shipping box once. Too many Tootsie Rolls: not enough Bit O Honey. I was devastated and haven't bought from them since.
If you are ever in the Fort Wayne, IN area, make a point to check out their store.
It is only a 90 minute drive for me, so I go there a few times a year.
The only problem is, when I go I tend to buy something. Too much temptation I guess.
