Yep, same here.

My entire kitchen counter top and sink (where I cook dinner and usually have some jams going) is one huge cajon.

Yep, for as long as I can remember. Air drummer as well here, worse if there's no one else around but will still throw in a few fills with others in the room.

Funny thing, I was dropping a box off for an ebay sale. While waiting in line and the box on a counter, I was tapping on it. Some lady asked if I was a drummer and I said yes. There is a snare drum in the box!

I spent 30 years driving in & out of NYC 5 days a week working on rudiments with shifting accents just on my steering wheel hub. Last car I bought, I played the wheel hub before I even decided on purchasing.

I played guitar and bass for years but was always playing rhythms tapping on things. I was actually on a road trip with my wife in our early years of marriage tapping on the steering wheel and she encouraged me to try the drums. To this day she's very supportive and puts up with a lot so I consider myself lucky.
