As Genesis drummer Nic Collins -- half-brother of Lily Collins and heir to a drumming fortune-- recently told Vice.com: “Drummers, we love to make lists and to talk about who’s better than who."

Of course, he meant "whom," but the point remains.

Since he's absolutely right, it's a pleasure to share WealthyCelebrity.com's new (Jan. 12, 2022) Ten Richest Drummers in the World ... Drum roll, please:

11. Travis Barker, $50M

10. Chad Smith, $90M

9. Joey Kramer, $100M

8. Roger Taylor, $200M

7. Don "No Contest" Henley, $250M

6. Charlie Watts (Estate, RIP), $250M

5. Phil Collins, $300M

4. Dave Grohl, $320M

3. Larry Mullen Jr., $350M

2. Lars Ulrich, $350M

1. Ringo Starr, $350M

When you have a couple hundred million that the world knows about, how much do you actually have?!?!!!!

You get in touch with somebody like Marty Byrde to keep it a secret!

Kind of surprising Charlie Watts isn't higher in the list and even more surprised that Roger Taylor is that high.

It is highly unlikely to be accurate.
When we started the Dire Straits tour a mainstream newspaper ran an article claiming we were all going to make £1 million from the tour. Completely misunderstanding tours have costs, PLUS there were two original members (Mark and John) and half of us were hired hands on a weekly wage.

I'm kind of surprised that John Densmore isn't on this list. I read that back in the day when the Doors were up for renegotiation of their record deal, their lawyer told them that it didn't matter how bad the deal was as long as they told Elektra they wanted to own all their own songs. This was after the third album and Elektra agreed. The four members also split everything equally so they wouldn't fight over who did what and the popularity of the Doors music has always been very strong. Since John owns a quarter, he should be extremely well off.
