The Grammys happened last night…

I stopped watching that years ago. I think the last one I watched was in 2014 due to some Beatles content (50 years since Ed Sullivan performance).

Saw a "news" story posted on Facebook headlined with words to the effect of "Unknown Blues Singer Wins Song of the Year"...Bonnie Raitt? Gosh, so obscure. Seriously?

Actually, I quite enjoyed that segment. And Questlove and the Roots did a fantastic job.

I don't like awards shows, but my wife asked me to watch the Grammys with her.
I actually enjoyed it. Though I didn't like a lot of the music, and I'm not tuned into popular music much, I thought many of the current hit makers were unique and creative.
And Trevor Noah was pretty funny.

I've never watch the Grammys and from what I hear I didn't miss much anyway. I don't really know any of these newer artists, so it was one of those, let's not kind of evenings. I'm sure they are all very talented, it's just the music isn't really my cup-a-tea.

I have heard of Bad Bunny, but never heard his music. Dude knows how to put on a party alright.

It’s not that I dislike new acts or anything, but the Grammys just don’t interest me. I have no desire to watch a bunch of boring speeches to see one or two performances that I might like. I did like Madonna‘a plastic surgery, though

I generally don't like to be judgmental but when the self inflicted goes wrong then you really don't have anyone or anything to blame but yourself. Own up to it.

I think it’s really disingenuous of her to say that. Got nothing against her but Madonna’s whole world is getting people to look at her. Well they did, and that’s not their fault.

Exactly, nobody made her get plastic surgery that caused her to look like a baboon's ass.

While most of us are aging gracefully, I have no sympathy for those who do stuff like this to themselves out of vanity.
