Don't see Barrett Deems sticks come up on eBay very often.
What size/model are those?
Isn't that a concert snare drum stick? No wonder she irreversibly damaged her shoulder. Bad technique plus those heavy sticks. Really unfortunate. It's a VF SD1 - Round tip. Diameter .635. Length 16 3/8.
I like the length. I'd play 'em if they weren't an heirloom item.
(not if they're maple) Generals #1 (aka SD1)heavy sticks

Well it's the truth, otherwise she would still be playing.Wow, that's a bold diagnosis based on a stick, Doctor.
His Zildjian stick was a direct copy of his Gretsch Tony Williams sticks (made by Capella). It was a Capella 2B.
Tony handed me the pair of Gretsch TW sticks he used at the 1990 MD Festival and we used those to develop the tooling for his Zildjian Tony Williams sticks. He said something to the effect, "If you can copy these, I'll play your sticks." I sent Tony prototypes for approval in November or December of 1990, and he approved the first version. He was the first signature drumstick artist I signed, and we introduced his stick at NAMM in January 1991.
I don't know what happened to his Gretsch sticks. For all I know, someone at the stick factory in Alabama tossed them. Wish I'd held on to them...
She’s a lawyer now!Well it's the truth, otherwise she would still be playing.
Yeah because she couldn't play anymore. Brett Anderson went back to school too and graduated recently. She’s a lawyer now!
Just a guess, but I think if her health was perfect, she would have eventually left The Donnas anyway to attend Harvard Law School.Yeah because she couldn't play anymore. Brett Anderson went back to school too and graduated recently.
