I'm not sure, there are no date stamps and I don't know if the serial numbers will tell it either.
But thank you!
Serials will give a general idea.... can you share? Is that a Pioneer or Jazz Fest snare?

That's great, I think 1964 for bass, rack tom and floor tom ; snare may be 1965 ; looks like a well cared for set..... you will love the Pioneer, I think..... I would love to see some photos of the kit once you set it up and would guess other DFO'ers would too.

Hey thanks for the information, I always wondered if this was a born together kit ( except the snare of course). I think they are, I bought them off Craig's list years ago form a lady in Peoria Il. Her son played them and decided to quit. Got the drums, two nice timbalies, several Ludwig Atlas stands, throne, Oh and a wee bit flaky supra, and some Zildjian and other cymbals all for 500.00!

Wow! was a GREAT deal! They are oyster black or oyster blue? I would lean towards being born together due to serial numbers but that is not a hard and fast rule...
No date stamps? Not unusual during the "Beatle boom" years. ...my 65 Downbeat didn't, I believe both my 66's do not and my 65 Oyster Blue Super Classic did and was born withing 5 days of each other together in Oct 65.

I found enough time to polish and do a quick set up without cymbals. Forgot how beautiful they are!

THanks for sharing your kit! They are oyster black or oyster blue? They look oyster blue but I could be wrong....
Your welcome, they are blue. Not as valuable but I like the blue better.

They are beautiful...I have a set of '65 Super Classics 22/13/16 in Oyster blue (my first set since coming back to drumming 3 years ago after a 34 year hiatus) ...I love the blue as well.
