As they are now... the rack is now a 10" Mapex I think and I love love love the natural octave difference to the 16" floor.

Snare is a 6.5" Tama Soundworks Maple... love it.

no. they are about 7 years old. still tune up fine for gigs.

1965 Rogers Cleveland Holiday. The 12,16,20 came all together with tags 56xxx. The 14" Floor has 111xxx and the 13" is early 70's Fullerton. All match nicely
.

Yep, it was Benny Greb using a 10 and a 16, that put me onto it.

You don't play a tune with your toms when you go between them... it is just high and low.

That's RAL color 6034. Better known as Pastel Turquoise. Non metallic, no wood grain, nada. hehe........ Yours should look killer! What shell type and sizes did you get?

Thanks! Yeah I’m looking forward to getting them sometime next year. I ordered 3 up 2 down 8/10/12/14/16 all in medium beech with a 16x20 heavy maple kick.

You'll love those. Beech toms have this really neat sound to them. It's hard to describe. They cut in the mix like crazy but it's not harsh like oak. Maple kick will give you a touch more warmth than the beech too. Good combo!

Thanks! This will be my third time with SQ2s believe it or not and I’ve learned a lot along the way to finally arrive at my Goldilocks medium beech kit. I also love their heavy maple kicks so that was a no brainer. Can’t wait . Plus, I was able to sell the first two in no time flat on consignment and hardly lost any money. They really hold their value.
