I like the side snare here. I’ve never done it, but this picture is giving me some thoughts.

Thanks! It's a '64 Ludwig Pioneer. With only 6 lugs, it doesn't tune up as high as I like, but it plays very well in the low-to-mid tuning range. My main snare is a Craviotto "Johnny C" model that I can't say enough about. It does everything I want from a workhorse snare, and does it well.

WOW!!!! I started with post #1 and here were are already past #100! And the most amazing part is with maybe two exceptions, every photo features a random drum, stick or cymbal in the photo. A lot of these photos are real art as well folks, keep em' coming and thanks for sharing all your wonderful pics!
