Did you buy it?? I’m really curious what someone paid for a genuine NOS set. This 1964/65 Slingerland WMP kit just spent the last 55 yrs packed in the original boxes. Never played. Drums, stands, cymbals all unused. Just showed up on Reverb/Ebay. Figured a shot of it should grace these pages.

Only the dealer who currently owns it knows what they have into it.....or if on consignment, what the owner wants for it. Still for sale. If it sells on Ebay, should be able to find out the purchase price. I made an offer on it but it was not accepted.Did you buy it?? I’m really curious what someone paid for a genuine NOS set.
Novus?Guys,
What was the name of the cleaner/polish to use on my wrapped Slingerlands?
Mothers Mag?
Where do I get it?
Nice to see the Black Diamond Pearl Stage Band kit that I sold to DFO member Glaze148. That was my very first vintage kit I bought after getting back into drumming after a long hiatus. It always irked me that the 12 x 15 FT didn't quite match the other drums which had the deeper black pearl. It was nice to see that Glaze148 actually found a correct 14 x 14 BDP floor that had the the deep black pearl to add to that kit and the snare, which he owned previously, before he bought my kit. I said it once, I'll say it over and over... Slingerland Diamond Pearl wrap was the best in the business!I think my first kit were Slingerlands
Otherwise some pics of assorted pieces over the years

Here's the second vintage Slingerland I bought and restored. What a pleasure to play this kit. This set is now in the hands of Jamie Drake of the TorQ Percussion Quartet out of Toronto, Canada... what a road trip for him! These drums were rewrapped as the original wrap was terrible. The snare was a 1958 7 x 14 Student model Radio King. Our own Mike Layton donated a set of vintage wires. Beautiful little kit! Funny the connections recalled simply by looking over some old pictures.

did Joey Boom restore the red/grey snare?Love Stage Band sets. I had a BDP with a 12x15 and sold it to a Forum Member in the NE about 10 yrs ago. Here’s a few, less the Champagne that I’ve been piecing out due to a damaged bass drum, snare and 14” are gone. A WMP would be cool but I only see one every 5 yrs or so and the timing has never worked.
