Is the fl tom 3 ply?
I happen to have a 3 ply B&B 12,14,20 w/ matching in Red Glass. Mine does not have the extra mount near the bass reso though, otherwise yes, including snare arm.

This is awesome! Both Mr. Scherr's story and insights as well as the new owner's are wonderful and inspiring. b&blugmug is obviously of a much more recent "vintage," but he totally gets the idea of care and the seriousness these these fine instruments deserve. And he sounds great playing the drums, getting fine tones out of them.
It will stay as is
I’m 48 and have been collecting, buying , selling and restoring vintage drums since I’m 12 years old.
I still have the first set I ever played in 1979… a 1965 gold sparkle Slingerland Krupa outfit.
I know the ropes as they say.

Amazing that he never changed the heads.
I have several sets from the 60’s with all the original heads.
I own probably 30 or 40 drums from the 50s and 60s with original heads
