Sell it to me when your gold one comes in. What did you use for reference on drilling the kick? I emailed Gretsch about that & never heard back.
I looked at many photos of placement of the hardware on other kits, and did several dry-runs to see where the toms would hang before drilling. I think I took a month to do the drilling as I worried about taking my kick's virginity.

The New Classic Bop was only available with WMP wrap,
I think you meant the other way around: WMP wrap was only available as 18/12/14 (+ snares). You could get bop kits in several other finishes.

I swapped to gold hardware. Looks good against the satin indigo IMO.
I don't usually like gold hardware, but that looks stellar. Nice choice!

Also dig that Broadkaster reso head with the NC lugs. I have a Gretsch snare with those lugs (not an NC, some generic "gold series" or what have you) and really dig them.
