And someone was kind enough to take a picture. I met four of these guys for the first time on stage that day. This was a benefit for Mission 22 a veteran suicide prevention group. We helped them raise $1400 that day, and the band made $300 in tips from an enthusiastic crowd.
I've not been out for a few weeks so played a couple of nice local gigs this weekend to stretch the legs... First was the opportunity to run my "classic" rock sizes from the INDe shell bank for a fun sub gig which included the messiest stage I have navigated in some time!
Then played my now occasional church gig this morning... It's begenning to look a lot like Christmas!
Got booked for a few Christmas parties at a beautiful resort / catering place in rural GA. Using a 20, 14x11 floor, Acrolite, 19" Zildjian "Beautiful Baby" with two rivets, 16" Mehmet, 14" Masterwork hats.
No mics or in ears so set up / breakdown is quick and easy.
